450 Participants Honored at Basketball Awards Dinner

Mayor Nicholas Sacco and Commissioners Hugo Cabrera and Julio Marenco presented awards to all 450 participants at the township’s Basketball Awards Dinner on Tuesday, July 12.

 Kids from grades 3 through 12 participated in the event, representing their respective age groups. The Huskies, boys ages 8 to 10, won the league and playoffs. Meanwhile, the Spurs, ages 14 to 18, won the regular season.

 The Aces, girls ages 8 to 11, won the season and playoffs. The Diamonds, ages 12 to 18, won the regular season.

 All the winning teams received commemorative sweatshirts.
