DPW Rescues Kitten Trapped in Sewer

Employees from the North Bergen Department of Public Works rescued a trapped kitten from the sewers beneath Tonnelle Avenue on Thursday, June 23. DPW workers went underground and inserted an automated camera in the narrow sewer pipe, using it to nudge the kitten out the other end, where it could be safely removed and rescued.
