River Smith, a former Dwight-Englewood School star who now plays for the Howard Bison, is set to take the court in the NCAA Tournament.

Howard is seeded No. 16 and will square off with fellow 16th seed UMBC Retrievers in the opening round.

The matchup is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, at 6:40 p.m. at UD Arena.
