Mayor Nicholas Sacco and Commissioner Hugo Cabrera announce the opening of soccer registration on Monday, Jan. 9 for boys and girls ages 5-17 (birthdays after July 1, 2005).

Register from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday at either the uptown Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Avenue, or the Downtown Recreation Center & Library, 1231 Kennedy Boulevard, third floor. You can also register Monday to Friday between 5:30 and 9 p.m. at the soccer trailer at Bruin Stadium.

Registrants are required to provide birth certificate and a recent utility bill. No passports or photo IDs. There is a $35 non-refundable fee payable in EXACT cash, credit, money order, or check.
