Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Township of North Bergen are proud to support Small Business Saturday, a national initiative to promote local businesses throughout the country.
Small Business Saturday, a nationally recognized day taking place annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving – between Black Friday and Cyber Monday – was created in 2010 and has proven to be highly successful in boosting business in local shops and establishments.
Participating in Small Business Saturday by shopping locally is a great way to help your home community – and a terrific kick-off to the holiday shopping season. This year the township is once again making it even easier by providing free parking at meters while shopping on Saturday, Nov. 26 thanks to Mayor Sacco and the North Bergen Parking Authority.
