North Bergen supports and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month with numerous activities in June:6/9 @ 4-8 p.m. – Pride Cookout and Meet & Greet in Braddock Park, with food, music, and a chance to be loud & proud. Hosted by P.O. Jen Fernandez, the NBPD’s LGBTQ+ liaison, and the North Bergen Police Department.6/11 @ 3 p.m. – Queer Zine and Button DIY Workshop at the uptown library. Make your own Pride buttons. Create and share zines. Materials will be provided.6/15 @ 6-7 p.m. – LGBTQ+ Latinx Information & Resource Session on Zoom.
