North Bergen’s annual Trunk or Treat event will take place from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 outside the Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Avenue.

Residents will be decorating their cars with a Halloween theme and distributing candy to children. ONLY people interested in decorating their car need to sign up in advance by emailing afocaraccio@northbergen.org or calling 201-392-0229.

The NBPD’s Community Police Unit will also sponsor a pumpkin patch so kids can pick their own pumpkin to take home. This event is sponsored by Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Board of Commissioners, the North Bergen Police Department, and NB C.A.R.E.S. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 30.
