Session 4 - NaNoWriMo Teen Writing Club

  • Challenge yourself to write your very own novel this November!
  • November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and the Glen Rock Library will host 4 writing sessions throughout the month for teens to help you along your writing journey. 
  • Each informal session will include a writing exercise to help spark your creativity, discussions on different aspects of novel writing, as well as time work on your novel and to share & discuss your writing with your peers.* 
  • Our fifth and final session on December 7th will be our wrap up party to celebrate your accomplishments! 
  • *Sharing your writing is encouraged but not required.
  • Join us on Wednesday evenings fom 6pm to 7pm:
  • Session 1: November 2 - Goal setting, planning, and getting started
  • Session 2: November 9 - Discuss and share progress, ideas, blocks
  • Session 3: November 16 - Discuss and share progress, ideas, blocks
  • Session 4: November 30 - Last writing day
  • Session 5: December 7 - Wrap up party!For students in grades 6 through
  • 12. Register online through LibCal.Once you have registered, watch for an email from Kristen, our Teen Librarian, with more information regarding signing up for the GRPL Teens classroom page on ywp.nanowrimo.org for full participation. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged. Registering for one session will register you for all sessions.Questions?
