We had such a great week of training and met some amazing people who are now part of our CIT family! Here is just some of the feedback we received when we asked if they would recommend CIT training to their colleagues….

* Law Enforcement Officer – Yes! This was very informative and eye opening.  Great resources were shared and it is a necessary training for all officers.  I now have a better understanding of mental health and addiction.* Law Enforcement Officer – Yes.

This can help with not only the profession you are in, it can also help in your every day life.* Mental Health Professional – 100%!  This training was so beneficial in so  many ways.

Really opened my eyes to so many things.  Please continue doing this!* Law Enforcement Officer – Yes.  All supervisors should have to take this training!!* Mental Health Professional – Yes – it gives you a different and new perspective of what law enforcement does in the community.

* Law Enforcement Officer – Yes! This training provided de-escalation techniques for officers as well as bringing in panels to better help understand those in crisis.* Mental Health Professional – Yes.

I think it is a great opportunity to bridge the gap between mental health and law enforcement. * Law Enforcement Officer – Yes.

I believe every law enforcement officer should take this training.

You get to see different sides of peoples views and jobs through great conversation among all of the professionals in the class.
