Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Township Commissioners invite all residents to come out and celebrate the season at the annual Winterfest celebration taking place on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Winterfest is one of the major events of the year in the township, starting with a parade down Bergenline Avenue and continuing with family-friendly entertainment for all ages including ice skating, rock climbing, rides, food, and giveaways. All your favorite characters will be there, including Mickey and Minnie, The Grinch, Black Panther, Iron Man, Minions, and all their friends, so don’t miss out.
Festivities take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Bergenline between 85th and 76th Streets.
The North Bergen Recreation Department is offering free shuttles from Kennedy, McKinley, and Franklin Schools to take downtown families to and from Winterfest. Reserve your seats by Nov. 28 by calling 201-861-9601 from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
